This was the motto used by course leader Gabriele Stucke in her speech at the award ceremony for the 11 successful participants in her literacy course at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center at Kaiser-Ludwig-Ring 9 in Amberg.
Would you have known? There are around 20,000 migrants living in Germany who have to learn to read and write at the same time as the German language.

Accounting professionals celebrate successful completion

Amberg. The effort was worth it for the 18 participants to go back to school and complete the commercial qualification as an accounting specialist with CDT using the industry software DATEV, Lexware and SAP R/3. 17 course participants and one course participant were able to receive their certificates and SAP application certificates on August 22, 2014 in the premises of the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center in Amberg at Kaiser-Ludwig-Ring 9.

ESF qualification creates the future!

Amberg, August 8, 2014. The two project supervisors Peter Blendowski and Roland Domogalla are pleased that, for the second time, long-term unemployed people have the opportunity to gain professional qualifications through the ESF project “Qualification to become a nursing assistant” in cooperation with the AM-AS job center in order to gain a foothold on the job market again. Since March 24, 2014, participants at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center at Kaiser-Ludwig-Ring in Amberg have been learning relevant specialist theory from the career profile of geriatric nurses. By the end of the course on December 19, 2014, the participants will have completed two modules in the nursing area and one care module.

Jürgen Meyer recently asked himself this question and wanted to be sure what would happen next. To do this, he brought the private vocational school for geriatric care and geriatric care assistance from Amberg to the Ramasuri Frühschoppenstudio.

Be a logistician yourself – at Loxxess

Company investigations are always a good opportunity to take a look at the processes and organization of different companies. They also help to counteract the so-called operational blindness, which is still firmly anchored in many people due to their own experiences in their own company. The team of training managers for the two retraining courses, Andreas Baumann, Roland Domogalla and Richard Kirschner, were happy to take advantage of the offer from the cooperation partner LOXXESS to carry out a business simulation game on the topic of picking with the participants and to take a look behind the scenes of a logistics company.

Great success in qualifying as a nursing assistant

22 participants successfully completed the project to promote and improve their chances on the job market! With the qualification project to become a nursing assistant, the ISE Sprach- und Berufsbildungszentrum GmbH has been able to recruit 22 participants since it was launched in July 2013 to continue their training and work on their professional qualifications.

ISE success story – ISE celebrates its 25th birthday

Amberg – The ISE language and vocational training center can now look back on 25 successful years in adult education. Such an anniversary is a worthy occasion for a ceremonial celebration. The ceremony took place in the Amberg-Sulzbach district office (König-Ruprecht-Saal) with numerous guests from business, politics and public life as well as with former course participants. The social commitment in society, in addition to the competent educational work and outreach work, was highly praised from all sides.

Continuing on the road to success – qualifying as a nursing assistant

Peter Blendowski (ISE project manager of the ESF project) and Andrea Gaßner (supervisor, lecturer and administrator in the project) really cannot complain about the learning progress of the 22 participants. After completing the second module, almost 100% of the participants were able to acquire the childcare certificate after passing theoretical and practical exams. This qualification entitles you to work as a carer in nursing homes (according to Section 87b SGBXI). After the many teaching and practical units, the participants can now look forward to a successful completion and better opportunities on the job market.
