Cooking event in the professional field of gastronomy – got a taste for it?

Participants in the FOKUS “Career and Work” measure experienced teamwork in the catering sector.

The implementation of the mediation takes place in different ways. In the area of ​​gastronomy, insights into the service area, housekeeping and the kitchen were gained.

The group worked together to create a three-course meal. The recipes were chosen, discussed and distributed, and the purchasing was coordinated. The class divided into groups to prepare the food. While the starter and main course were being cooked, others were setting the table and folding napkins. The dessert was also a team project. From falafel to shakriea to home-baked bread and a fruit salad - everything was thought of. Like the class, the menu was also multicultural.

The guests were then officially welcomed and escorted to the table, the buffet was explained and opened. After enjoying the food, it was a given that everyone would help with cleaning up and washing up.

A successful day in terms of knowledge transfer and team building.
