14 successful graduates at ISE – Become a warehouse logistics specialist in two years
ON THE MOUNTAIN. At a small ceremony, the head of the Language and Vocational Training Center (ISE), Peter Blendowski, welcomed not only the successful graduates of the warehouse logistics course, but also teachers and representatives from the employment agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). A lot of energy and perseverance were required during the two years of training, says Blendowski. Of the originally 16 participants, 14 received the coveted certificate on Friday.
First of all, I would like to thank our lecturer Richard Kirschner for always having an open ear for everyone and for being extremely patient with the sixteen of us retrainees, who couldn't be more different.
Briefly about me: My name is Apostolos Vougazianos and I took part in the retraining program at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center to become a warehouse logistics specialist in the period from March 16, 2009 to March 16, 2011. A long two years that flew by.

This is what the ISE integration courses have stood for for 21 years.
The first “German language course” started in the Rotkreuzhaus in Amberg in 1989. Over time, the ISE has accompanied more than 8,000 new citizens from many countries around the world on their first steps in Germany.
Before the introduction of the Immigration Act in 2005, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) used a strict approval process to select qualified educational providers to run integration courses. ISE’s application was successful – and its work still is. The 28th course started in January.
Blickpunkt Berufs is an offer for single women. With this measure, participants can find out what and how they want to work. “Blickpunkt Berufs” plans the path there with you.
“Blickpunkt Berufs” is a very successful career search offering. Since 1994, more than 300 women between the ages of 18 and 40 have successfully taken part. Over half then found permanent employment or accepted a training or retraining position.
The aim of the course is to take up a part-time job, start training or retraining.
As a cooperation partner, the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center is carrying out some module sections of this project - especially in the IT area.
