We - the graduates of the IT course with ECDL Linux and network technology (end of qualification April 2011) - would like to give the readers of the ISE homepage a little more insight into the ECDL driving license:
The ECDL is a certificate that confirms the holder's basic computer skills.
The exams can be taken in any order on different dates. The duration of the exam for a module is a maximum of 35 minutes; You have a maximum of three years to complete all modules.
The European computer driving license is then valid for life and is an internationally recognized, standardized and independent certificate based on a European standard (syllabus).
However, regularly refreshing your knowledge is still important!
Our course began on October 4th, 2010 and ended on April 1st, 2011. During this time, Mr. Aigner taught us the individual modules. Mr. Domogalla, Mr. Gebhard and Mr. Kroher also represented us.
As in previous years, the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center Amberg was once again able to award some participants the ECDL driving license (European computer driving license) or Ecdl Start (4 passed modules). On April 1, 2011, 12 students received the coveted certificate.
Within 6 months, 7 modules of the certificate, which is in demand in business and secondary schools, are successfully completed.
The holder of this certificate is trained to operate an operating system and common user software.
The focus of the seven sub-examinations is on practical, application-relevant knowledge.

The ISE language and vocational training center has been offering further training with an ECDL driving license for 5 years now. Since then, many participants who now hold the EDCL or Ecdl Start have been able to significantly improve their qualification profile for the labor market.
We hope that many more young people and adults can experience the joy and success of using the medium of information technology and acquiring the ECDL at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center.
