Ten friends

I recommend the retraining as “Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk” at ISE to ten friends because I associate this career change with real prospects (friend 1). Because it will enable me to get a business degree (friend 2). Because I can implement my interest in technology (Friend 3) and combine it with my commercial professional experience (Friend 4). Because I have always liked ‘service’ (friend 5), but can now combine it with a varied (girlfriend 6) and versatile training (girlfriend 7). Because I have new colleagues there (Friend 8), who all have professional and life experience (Friend 9), from whom I can also learn (Friend 10).

I could write like that and nothing would be wrong with it. But if I actually tell ten friends about it, it sounds different.

After just the first few months, I realized that I enjoyed the abundance of new things much more than I had initially assumed (Friend 1). So I'm researching completely new terms in areas that were previously unknown to me: Is there 007 behind a line agent? Isn’t ADR called “General German Rose Novelty Test”? And the folding can also be done without a “sich” in the middle? The European Latvian is not a resident of a Baltic country, and although a speedometer shows the speed, the load meter does not measure a drawer (girlfriend 2)? In addition, over time a record-breaking list of abbreviations from AAR to ZV is created, and none of it has anything to do with birds of prey or sports (Friend 3). I practice arithmetic like I did when I was at school (Friend 4) and: I finally have a “real” reason to take the boat across the Danube (Friend 5 and Girlfriend 6)! I wanted to change my career (friend 7), and can now do so in a place where intensive, goal-oriented learning (friend 8) and hearty laughter (friend 9) belong together. And the best thing about it is that I can combine all of this with a real professional perspective (Friend 10)!
