Implement potential – warehouse logistics students start their internship

The ISE Language and Vocational Training Center has been carrying out retraining in the apprenticeship “warehouse logistics specialist” with great success for many years. The retrainees who have decided on vocational training in the warehouse logistics sector and have been taking part in a retraining course organized by ISE in Sulzbach-Rosenberg since December 1, 2011, are now starting the second practical training phase. The management of the ISE - represented by managing director Peter Blendowski - and the ISE employment agent Helmut Albrecht did not fail to wish the very hard-working retrainees a good start for the upcoming internship. Representatives of the Amberg employment agency such as team leader Manuela Luber from the employment agency and Werner Scharl from the employer service also joined in the good wishes and are already looking forward to the further successful retraining process. Angelika Gradl, department manager for goods receipt and logistics at ZF Friedrichshafen AG in Auerbach, was also pleased with the good progress of the retraining so far and the good performance of the participants and wished everyone a very successful internship.

A buffet with hearty snacks, white sausages with pretzels and all sorts of Bavarian delicacies provided a little refreshment before the practical assignments in the companies.

Before the cozy get-together in the break room of the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center, the participants demonstrated their specialist knowledge to the guests in a small question and answer session in the classroom. Whether it was about liability issues in the freight contract according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) or about general knowledge about the transport of goods, the answers to the questions of the training manager Richard Kirschner, who is supervising the retraining, were very accurate.

Now the 18 retrainees are excited to implement the knowledge they have acquired in the new environment. The ISE Language and Vocational Training Center hopes that all participants can gain new experiences, new perspectives and facets in the warehouse logistics sector in various specialist departments during the internship and can use the knowledge they have acquired.

The next and final theoretical section of the retraining starts at the end of April 2013. The final teaching topics will then be dealt with. After preparing for the exams, the final exams take place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Regensburg in autumn/winter.
