Investing in the future – completed training as an accounting specialist (CDT)

On October 15, 2012, the certificates were handed over to the newly trained accounting specialists in the premises of the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center in Amberg. All participants achieved excellent results and can look forward to better opportunities on the job market thanks to their more qualified profiling. Some of the committed course participants received job offers immediately after the internship. Managing director Peter Blendowski, course leader Angela Scheibeck and employment agent Helmut Albrecht congratulated on this great success and wished the graduates all the best for the future.

For five months there was a lot of cramming and studying hard, but also laughter. Because according to the ISE motto “Learning with fun”, not only the important theory with extensive specialist knowledge should be conveyed, but also the joy of learning success and good cooperation in the class community - with wit and humor - should not be neglected.

The qualification started with general accounting. Topics such as purchasing and selling goods, personnel accounting, asset accounting and the annual financial statements were discussed. The lecturers then had to train the participants in cost and performance accounting. In numerous learning units, the meaning and purpose of the accrual calculation, the business accounting form, the offer calculation and the contribution margin calculation were practiced extensively.

What was learned was also put into practice using the industry software Lexware, Datev and SAP R/3. All students were always involved with great enthusiasm. Whether it was about setting up a new company, entering documents or making advance sales tax returns with the usual evaluations and statistics, the participants worked their way through the often difficult material with great perseverance and constantly questioned the overarching objective the task was completed. After a short time, the participants no longer had any problems with processing the employee base, recording wage data and ultimately registering income tax.

The newly qualified accounting specialists further expanded their theoretical knowledge in a four-week internship. Above all, however, the focus here was on gaining practical experience in order to be well prepared for starting a career with experienced knowledge. The employment agent at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center, Mr. Helmut Albrecht, supported the graduates in finding internships. Fortunately, several participants were given permanent employment by the internship companies.

We wish the very well-trained accounting specialists all the best for their professional future and will continue to support them with advice and support.
