For the second time, the work and education working group of the Intermunicipal Alliance for Migration and Integration of the city of Amberg and the Amberg-Sulzbach district is organizing the job and education fair “JoBi.regional” together with the alliance of regional education providers. The trade fair was already a complete success for everyone involved. Well-known companies and institutions were able to have good and targeted discussions with applicants regarding open training and job positions. It didn't take long for the first training and employment contracts to be initiated.

Successful retraining of specialists in the hospitality industry

Filling this was the aim of ISE retraining in the training profession of specialist in the hospitality industry (IHK). All eight graduates have already found work.

The aim of the job center, employment agency and the ISE language and vocational training center in Amberg was to remedy the staff shortage. This special retraining offer was aimed at job seekers, especially people with a migration background and refugees.

Get out of unemployment with hard work and perseverance

The job center does justice to this fact with qualification and retraining measures from the ISE language and vocational training center, including becoming a nursing assistant. Five women and three men successfully completed the ninth round of this measure.

The unemployment rate of the individual participants in such courses usually lasts for very different periods, with most of them not having found work for a long time. In the new course, men and women from very different nations came to school: in addition to Germans, there were also participants from Syria, Iraq, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Romania.
